Henry Sibley Baldwin, married an actress, Daisy Barnwell Harrison (her second marriage), on October 10, 1898 in Ascension Memorial Church in Manhattan when he was 26 and she was 22. Henry was living in South Duxbury, Mass. and Daisy was living in Washington DC.
Sadly, Daisy (aka Marion Barnwell), died of pneumonia as a result of catching typhoid 15 days after the marriage. She is buried in the Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia, along with her mother. Her father was a cousin of President William Henry Harrison, and a grandson of Benjamin Harrison, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Henry died 30 years later on May 20, 1928 in Manhattan and is listed as "single" on his death registration. According to one of Daisy's obituaries, Henry was a "well-known man about town, a former bookmaker and reported to be very wealthy."
