There was also singing by the choir of that church, and the body was escorted to its last resting place, in Forest View cemetery, by a large number of sorrowing friends.

Amanda J McKee was born in New York state in 1845 and in 1883, in Harlan county, Neb., was united in marriage to Abraham Baldwin. Seven years later Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin came to Forest Grove, where they have resided almost continually since. Mrs. Baldwin is survived by a devoted husband, several stepchildren, all grown, and one brother, Charles McKee, who resides in Massachusetts. She was a consistent Christian and was not afraid to face her Maker. Six years ago deceased met with an accident which left her an invalid, but she bore her affliction uncomplainingly and with remarkable fortitude The bereaved husband has the sympathy of a large number of friends in his irreparable loss.
