SALEM - Alan Craig Baldwin passed away on February 18 at the age of 58. He was born March 26, 1948 in Oregon City to J. William and Anne (Estes) Baldwin.Alan was raised in Stayton and later moved to Salem.

He served in the U.S, Air Force during Viet Nam. He married Delna Jordan on July 15, 2006.

Alan was a mechanic by trade, but he dedicated his life to serving veterans. They were members of OVMA, the Oregon Veterans Motorcycle Association and Northwest Veterans USA. Alan loved hunting and especially motorcycles, on which he and Delna practically lived.

Alan is survived by his wife Delna of Salem; sons, Scott Gilbert and Brandon Baldwin both of Salem; sister, Marianne Baldwin of Oakland, Calif.; step-sons, Steven and Joshua Smith and step-daughter, Tamisha Smith, all of Salem; and several grandchildren.

A time for visitation will be Thursday, February 22 from 3-8 PM at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. A celebration of Alan's life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 24 at Cascade Gateway Park. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
