Minnie "Mickey" Ola Abel passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, with her daughter, Peggy, by her side. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, in Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Dallas. Interment: Grove Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Minnie was born Dec. 19, 1919, one of eight children born to William and Ida Ball. She loved her family more than anything, never met a stranger and loved to cook. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Millage Abel. Survivors: Daughter, Peggy Henderson and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Chris Henderson and wife, Jennifer, and Mark Henderson and wife, Christie; and great-grandchildren, Max, Brady and Sophie.
