Myrtle Bell Arthur, age 85, a resident of Cleveland, pass away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Arthur was the daughter of the late Bessie Lee Beavers Ballew and William Luther Ballew; her husband: Ralph "Bud" Arthur; one brothers: Robert, Earl, Ray, Junior Ballew; son-in-law: Charles Reynolds also precedes her in death. Mrs. Arthur was a homemaker, loved crocheting, working in her flower gardens and her grandchildren. She was a member of Cookson Creek Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include her children: Raymond Arthur and his wife Faye of Copperhill, David Arthur of Pennsylvania, Dennis Arthur of Cleveland, Junior Arthur and his wife Carolyn of Cleveland, Jerry Arthur of Cleveland, Betty Ingram and her husband Reverend Lee Ingram of Benton, and Brenda Reynolds of Benton; grandchildren: Lisa Defriece of Cleveland, Wendell Ingram of Cleveland, Joey Ingram and his wife Heather of Old Fort, Holly Guthrie and her husband Reverend Jason Guthrie of Old Fort, Reverend Roy Reynolds and his wife Maranda of Cleveland, Angela Saylor of Benton, Brigette Spencer and her husband Nick of Colorado, Ray Arthur and his wife Shannon of Georgia, Tony Arthur and his wife Shannon of Cleveland, Dutch Arthur of Old Fort, Jason Arthur of Pennsylvania, Jessica Brooks, Roy Broooks, Cassaundra Arthur of Cleveland, Daniel Arthur of Benton; 20 great grand children and 6 great great grand children; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Cookson Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Floyd Boggess and Reverend Mike Rymer officiating. Interment will follow in the Cookson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Rick Woody officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
