Mrs. Keturah Balllanger Abbott died Saturday night at the home of the home of Hercules L. Kelly, in this city, aged 89 years, 14 days. She was born in Burlington, O. April 7, '18 and crossed the plains in 1850 and has since resided continually in the vicinity of Oregon City. Deceased is survived by one son and three daughters, John V. Abbot of Columbia Falls, Mont., Mrs. H. L. Kelly, of this city, Mrs. Payson Hatch of Portland and Mrs. Henry Williams of The Dalles. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Kelly residence, Rev. P. K.Hammond officiating. The remains were interred in Mt. View cemetery.
