Andrew Jackson Banks is the GG grandfather of Lee Perry Warren.

His parents were Henry Banks of Wilkes County NC & Nancy Christian of Virginia.

The Banks families from Letcher County Kentucky and beyond stem from Henry (Descendants of Henry Banks).

Andrew married Eliza Jane Cornett in Letcher County November 30, 1856. They are the parents of Nancy Jane, James D. Henry Clay, Dr. John Baxter Breezton, Mary Jane, Tipton, Jesse, William, Martha & Enoch Banks.

Andrew used Jackson at times on documents instead of Andrew.

He was in the military and fought for the South. On December 26, 1864 he was captured by Union Troops.

Andrew was a farmer/land owner in Kentucky.

In 1890 Andrew became blind. Unable to deal with
blindness, he comitted suicide by hanging humself, which was reported in a sketch submitted to the Clay County Quarterly.
