BOOKER T. BANKS, age 78, loving husband of Sheridan Hicks Banks and beloved father of Kimberly V. Banks and Camille R. Banks, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2013. He was born on April 22, 1935 in Nesbit, MS to the late George and Maggie Malone Banks, Sr. and raised in Memphis, TN. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Resident of Chicago Heights, IL, dear brother of Frank (Brenda) Banks; cherished uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Friday, June 14 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at N.J. Ford Parkway Chapel. Wake Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. at East Trigg Avenue Baptist Church, 1315 S. Bellevue Blvd. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Memphis.
