F. Hyde Barbarin was the first master of the Hastings Lodge of Masons, Mr. Barbarin retired three years ago as a printing salesman for the H. R. Elliot Co. of New York City.

Born in New York City, he had lived in Hastings, Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry since 1910. Mr. Barbarin was a Dobbs Ferry resident the last six years.

On Oct. 12, 1904, he married the former Sarah A Cruse in New York City.
