Al R. Barbosa, born November 19, 1929, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home with his children by his side November 9, 2014. His lifelong career & retirement at the State Farm Regional Office was accompanied by devoting countless hours as a long standing member of the Knights of Columbus Council 799, a benefit society, and the Order of Alhambra, serving the developmentally disabled. Al worked at the historical Adolphus and Baker Hotel in his early years as well as served four years in the Navy and 10 years in the reserves. He was passionate towards making Jesus known to those most neglected, protecting life, supporting Veterans and educating Young Americans. He was the third child of five children, the second son of Charles and Tillie Barbosa, Highland Park. Al enjoyed fishing, golfing, watching the Dallas Cowboys and going to the beach.
