Bernice Veronica Donahue Barbour, 88, of Heritage Healthcare, died at 8:46 AM Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born Oct. 5, 1916, in Lafayette, her marriage was to Robert R. Barbour in February 1941, at Delphi; he died Nov. 20, 1988.

Mrs. Barbour had worked as an inspector at the former Duncan Meter from 1950 until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, She enjoyed bowling, crafts, crocheting, reading, cooking, and playing bingo and cards.

Surviving are a son, Robert R. Barbour, Jr. (wife Judith) of Lafayette; two sisters, Marcela Jones of West Lafayette and Rita Burnett of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nellie Raymond Donahue; six sisters and two brothers.
