Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Spearman Baptist church for Judge A. F. BARKLEY, who died Monday in a Shattuck hospital. Judge BARKLEY was quite well-known over this section of the state and had served as Hansford county judge for over ten years.
He was 72 years of age.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude and a son, Freeman, both of Spearman, Virginia BARKLEY of Oklahoma City and Mrs. J. S. HUFFHINES of Amarillo, and five grandchildren.
Rev. H. H. Nichols officiated at the final services.
