Mrs. Jo Anne Mattis Barlow, 78, died July 17, 2011 at Central MS Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Jackson with interment in Raymond City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM.

Mrs. Barlow was a retired employee of the V. A. Medical Center and was a member of Raymond United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and working with ceramics. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Barlow and son, Mark Weems.

She is survived by her son, Chip Weems (Glenda) of Pensacola, FL; daughter-in-law, Linda Weems of Richland; brother, Thomas Mattis of Thomasville, GA; sisters, Jewel Eady of Byram and Christine Stonebarger of Raymond; grandchildren, Crystal Gill, Jeremy Weems and Joshua Weems and 2 great grandchildren.
