Charles E. Barnby (Bud) of Greenback, formerly of Akron/Canton Ohio, passed away at 12:45 a.m., Monday, Oct. 1, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Greenback. He was retired from General Tire Co. in Akron.He was 78.
Preceded in death by: brother, Herbert E. Barnby.
Survivors include: wife-Barbara Wolfe Barnby;
Sons-Ronald Eugene Barnby of Greenback; and Michael
Edward Barnby of North Canton, Ohio;
Grandchildren-Nicholas Barnby, Eric Barnby, Tyler Barnby and Logan Barnby, all of North Canton, Ohio;Sisters-Jean Herzog Schwab of Virginia; and Carol Ann Ratcliff of Akron;
Brother-Arthur W. Barnby of Canton;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Biereley-Hale Chapel with Pastor Steve Yeaney officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Oakland United Methodist
