Daughter of Liberty Bartlett and Charolette Penniman.

She married on 20 Feb 1869 in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR, Cassius McDonald Barnes (buried at this cem.), son of Henry Hogan Barnes & Cemantha Boyd; they had the following children (all b. in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR): Clarence McDonald b. 18779, Cassius Bartlett Sr. b. 1 Jan 1872, Harry Cooper b. 1873, and Eliza Louise Barnes b. 18 Mar 1878.

She was the Founder and first Oklahoma Territory Regent, appointed in 1894 by the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution.
