ADCOCK, Hazel Barnes - McMinnville resident and Cannon County, TN native Hazel Barnes Adcock, age 89, was born November 12, 1916 and died July 10, 2006 at River Park Hospital. A homemaker and a sales clerk with Sullivan's Department Store, she was the daughter of the late James Porter and Mary Jane Espy Barnes. She was married to Acy Adcock who preceded her in death January 30, 1975. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Ann Adcock of McMinnville; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Lesa Marie and Jason Scott and Rhonda Ann and Scott Bain all of McMinnville; four great-grandchildren, Landon Parker Scott, Brayden McCade Scott, Anna Grace Bain and Abbey Rose Bain all of McMinnville; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray N. and Jean Barnes of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Locust Street Church of God with Roland Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Whorton Springs Cemetery in Smithville, TN
