Carolyn A. Becraft Barnes, 78, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN.
Carolyn worked at General Electric for 13 years, retiring in 1980. She loved to travel and explore the countryside. Carolyn was a history buff and could always tell you interesting facts from places she had visited. She also enjoyed spending many winters in Florida and time with family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Barnes of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Jerry (Chris) Becraft of Jackson, MI and Robert Becraft of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Jody (Mark) Van Buskirk of Indianapolis, IN and Lorie Fortress of Warsaw IN; step-son, Troy Barnes of Fort Wayne, IN; step-daughters, Trudy Hughes and Thea (Pat) Diss both of Fort Wayne, IN; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, Max Barnett of CA; sister, Bonnie Werner of CA.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse W. and Shula Barnett, brother, William Barnett, sister, Martha Becraft.
