Born 1902, in Austria, she came to this country as a young girl residing in the Miners Mills section since that time. Mrs. Barna was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are sons Michael and Peter, Wilkes-Barre, Paul, Hudson, Frank and Raymond, Plains, Joseph, Philadelphia , Daughters, Mary Struckus, Wilkes-Barre Township, Mrs. Walter Wlss and Elizabeth Barna, Wilkes-Barre; 29 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Harostock Funeral Home, 480 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre at 8:30 with Divine Liturgy St. Mary's Church Friends at 9.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 10. Parastas service will be held at 8.
