KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Casey Baron Barber, 29, died suddenly at his home on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004. Mr. Barber was born Nov. 6, 1974, in Forsyth County, a son of Ricky Garland Barber and Gail Lynn Abshire Barber Johnson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Brady and Theresa Barber and Rudy Abshire. He was a kind and loving man. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Leviner Barber; his father, Ricky Garland Barber and stepmother, Tracy Barber of Kernersville; his mother, Gail Lynn Abshire Johnson and stepfather, Art Johnson of Jonesville; two sisters, Brigette Barber and Caitlin Barber, both of Kernersville; a stepbrother, Travis Cox of Kernersville; his maternal grandmother, Beth Abshire Shelton of Jonesville; and left loved ones at home, Pamelia Williams, Byron Williams and Brittany Southard. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Winston-Salem by Dr. Bob Williams and the Rev. Mike Lane. Burial will follow in Mount Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:30 p.m. today, Jan. 20, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the Barber Family, c/o Ricky Barber, 5718 Old Valley School Road, Kernersville, NC 27284.
