Alice was born May 9, 1917 in Friend, Nebraska, to George and Anna (Wadman) Wilson.
She married Henry Baron, October 22, 1952 in Reno, Nevada.
Her career spanned thirty years in the United States Army as a Registered Nurse. She was part of a medical unit during WWII, which followed the 3rd Army across France in 1944. Alice was severely injured in a Jeep rollover in the Rhemes area, which required a lengthy recovery in France, Fitzsimmons Hospital in Denver, and with her sister at the Johndreau ranch near Gordon. The war was over by the time she could return to active duty. She was bothered with her neck injury for the rest of her life. Alice retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Alice loved to play bridge, and also liked horse racing and golf. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Reserve Officers Association and the N.A.R.F.E.
Alice moved to Scottsbluff in 2001 from San Francisco, California, after the death of her husband to be near family.
Survivors include two nephews, Roy Johndreau of Gordon, and Robert Johndreau of Portland, Tenn.
Her husband, parents and a twin sister, Elsie Johndreau of Gordon preceded her in death.
