Mrs. Baron was a native of Germany and lived in Manteca 53 years.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
She enjoyed knitting, gardening, gambling and computers.
She is survived by her children, Hedi Gomes and Michael Baron Jr., both of Manteca, and Annalee Baron of Stockton; sister, Ursela Friedrich of Ger-many; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael S. Baron.
Visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 10 a.m. at the home.
A graveside service will be at 1:30p.m. Thursday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
