Byron was b. in Iowa. He died in Portland, Oregon. He married Rosa Bentz 5 Sept. 1907 in Yamhill Co.,​ Oregon. He was 21 and she was 19. I am linking Byron to his son who is buried in the Roseburg Nat'l Cem. He and Rosa had the following children: Harry B. Barr, b. 1909 in Oregon; Bird Marvin Barr, b. 1910 Oregon (a son); and Arabell Barr, a dghtr, b. 1914 Washington.

Rosa remarried by 1920 to a Clyde S. Huntington.

The death of Byron Richard Barr, 4817 Platt street, occurred Tuesday, October 29, following an attack of Spanish influenza. He is survived by a widow, Rose Barr; three children, Harry Byron, aged 10; Bird Marvon, aged 8 and Annabel, aged 5; a mother, Mrs. Nellie Thornburgh, of Opal City, and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Agee, of Midvale, Idaho, and Mrs. L.G. Garth, of Portland.
