Jeanne is the daughter of Antoine Bitouset and Nicole Duport dit Lecerf (they were married 31 Dec 1635). Her father was a fruit merchant who was living on the Rue de la Montagne-Sainte-Genevieve, in the parish of Saint-Etienne-du-Mont, Paris. She was born and baptized in St-Etienne-du-Mont in about 1635, per PRDH. She came to Quebec as a Filles a Marier.

Jeanne married (1) Louis Guimond on 11 February 1653, in Notre-Dame-de-Québec. They are the parents of the following (verified on PRDH):
1) Jacques (1653-1653)
2) Joseph (1654-1731) md Anne Pare
3) Louise (1658-1728) md Eustache Bacon
4) Claude (abt 1660-1738) md (a) Anne Roy and (b) Dorothee-Francoise Fournier

Louis was captured and tortured to death in an Iroquois raid, during the spring of 1661 (the same raid where Claude Poulin lost two sons).

She married (2) Jean Barette on 24 November 1661, in Chateau-Richer. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
1) Pierre (1662-1734) md (a) Marie-Madeleine Belanger, (b) Marie-Dorothee Vandal, (c) Ursule Laisdon
2) Jean-Andre (abt 1664-1681)
3) Jean (1666-1689)
4) Jeanne (1668-1745) md (a) Martin Poulin and (b) Etienne Drouin
5) Anne (1670-1670)
6) Marie-Madeleine (1672-1738) md (a) Guillaume Morel and (b) Jean-Baptiste Deblois
7) Francois (1676-1717) Genevieve Cloutier

Jean and Jeanne took in a boy who had been captured in 1697 near Boston by some pro-French Amernidians. He was sold by them to allies in Quebec and had been educated according to the Catholic Church. He was given the name of Jean-Baptiste by Jean and Jeanne, but no last name was given since "Savages" from Acadia had capture him. He was baptized on 10 April 1700, which was Easter Sunday and stated that he was 17 at the time. It's unknown what became of Jean-Baptiste.

Jeanne was buried on 11 February 1707.
