Adolphus Eugene Barrow, 36, of Amarillo died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in New Fellowship Baptist Church in Tulia with the Rev. Lewis Waters officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St.

Adolphus was born April 9, 1967, in Tulia to Roy and Mae Bell Barrow. He graduated from Tulia High School and attended West Texas A&M University.

He enjoyed reading, playing baseball, listening to music and animals. He liked to work with his hands.

He was a lovable, quiet person who cared for others and would do anything for anyone. He had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include five sisters, Sharon Menson and Sandra Henderson, both of Amarillo, Anita Barrow and Joyce Lynn Waters, both of Fort Worth, and Connie Willis of Casa Grande, Ariz.; six brothers, Sammie Barrow, Eddie Barrow and Gerald Barrow, all of Tulia, Fred Barrow of Long Beach, Calif., and Jerry Barrow of Corsicana and James Barrow of Tulia; and many other family members.

Adolphus Eugene Barrow, 36, of Amarillo died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009.
