Amy Joy Barry
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Adam’s Memorial Chapel of River View Abbey cemetery [sic] for Southwest Portland resident Amy Joy Barry, who died Sunday in a local hospital. She was 78.
Mrs. Barry, a lifelong Portland resident and a homemaker, had been a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center. She also had helped years ago to run a family business called Joy The Tailor.
She is survived by two sons, Harry E. Joy of Atlanta and Tony R. Joy of Portland; a sister, Hazel Osborn of Salem; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Arthritis Foundation of Oregon.
Burial will be private.
