Mrs. Barry was born in Lakeview to James D. and Catherine (Colharty) O'Connor. Her early years were spent in Plush. As a young girl she moved with her family to Klamath Falls, where she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. She and her husband, Dan Barry, lived for 65 years in the same home in Merrill until his death last June. At that time she moved to be with family in Kirkland. She was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church. Her hobbies included sewing and needlepoint, and she was an avid bridge player.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Joyce Barry of Silverdale, Wash., Jack and Marilyn Barry of Kirkland; grandchildren, and spouses, Stacy and Robert Onstad of Seattle, Kevin and Jayme Barry of Bellevue, Wash., Mike and Barbara Barry of Bothell and Jessica and Mack Barry of Bellevue, sister, Madge Ahern of Klamath Falls; and niece Virginia Parker Bellew of Richmond, Ihnd., as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Mikie and James O'Connor, and sisters, Lena Parker and Mae Josephson.
