According to Ms. Barrymore's FB she attended San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. She worked at a PetCo in San Diego.
Hours after the news of Jessica Barrymore's death, half-sister Drew Barrymore released a statement."Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible and I'm so incredibly sorry for their loss," the actress said in a statement to The News.John Barrymore said it was true the half-siblings barely knew each other. The three of them met once to scatter the ashes of their actor father, he said.
The sisters met on one other occasion right before their father, who had four kids from several marriages, died.
She was the daughter born in 1966 to his third wife Nina Wayne, 70, the former actress who appeared in the romantic comedy Luv alongside Jack Lemmon.
Facing her own problems with her family, Jessica moved in with her surrogate mother Dorothy Steinbeck at her home in Escondido, California. Jessica moved into Dorothy's CA home, when she was 15 years of age. She stayed there until she was 18 .
