Mary was the daughter of Harry F. & Mildred A. Bartlett.

Mary C. Babin, 82, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Swampscott, died peacefully October 15, 2005.

She was devoted to her beloved husband of 62 years, Edwin C. Babin. She also loved being with her family and friends. Some of her other pleasures in life were playing bridge, the Boston Red Sox, the Riviera Club Community, the library, cooking and St. Peter's Church.

A loving, devoted, and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be missed.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Babin is survived by her daughters, Linda (Richard) Fuller, Judi (Gordon) Nicholson and Denise Babin; her grandchildren, Susan (Peter) McGurrin, Sarah Fuller, Richard (Jennifer) Fuller, Sharon (Dana) Cole, Katie Nicholson, and Daniel, Jennifer and Benjamin Berry; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also the mother of the late John Andrew Babin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22, at 10 a.m. in St Peter's Catholic Church, 5130 Rattlesnake Hammock Road, Naples, Fla. Burial will take place at a later date in Swampscott. Arrangements are by the Fuller Funeral Home of Naples, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 990 First Ave. S., Suite 200, Naples, FL 34102 or to Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
