Born in Beverly, Mass. Graduate of Kents Hill Prep School and Boston University. Worked many years for United Shoe Machinery Co. in Boston and at their affiliate, the Felton Brush Co., Manchester.
Survived by wife Betty (Herndon) Bartlett, of Manchester; son Stephen A. Bartlett of Manchester; daughter Susan A. Carlson of Bow, N.H.; and his sister, Gladys Baker of Stoneham.
Funeral services in Manchester. Burial in North Beverly Cemetery, Beverly.
