Abiel Bartlett was the son of Moses Bartlett and Judith Rogers of Newbury, MA. He married Marie Goodhue. Signed the Action of Deerfield, NH in 1776 on the Question of Armed Resistence to the Crown. He served in the Rev. War in Capt. Simon Marston's Company, Lt. Col. Joseph Senter's Regiment. He and Maria settled in Center Harbor and were the parents of at least six children. Abiel descends from Richard Bartlett, the immigrant, of Newbury, MA.
