Mr. Barton Passes Away
William (Bruce) Barton of Alexandria passed away Tuesday, May 25, 1976, at a Lincoln hospital at the age of 73.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; sons, Richard of Lincoln, Billie of Hebron, and Robert of Alexandria, one daughter, Mary Kathleen (Mrs. Melvin Hellbusch) of Gilead, nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Hudson of Parrish, Fla., and Jenie Howlaund of Minneapolis, Minn.
Funeral services, were held Saturday, May 29, at St. Paul's Lutheran church near Gilead with Rev. Kenneth Jacobson of Fairbury officiating. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery with Traum Vance Gerdes Funeral Home in charge.
