Mrs. Lucy Barton Baker died at her home in Highland, Thursday, September 2, at the age of 34 years. She was the wife of Trooper Lynn Baker. A native of Gardiner she married Mr. Baker about eight years ago, and has resided in Highland since. She was a member of the Queen Esther Society. Besides her husband she is survived by her father, Peleg Barton, four sisters and a brother, Mrs. Roy Smith, Ella May Barton, Asa Barton of Gardiner, Olive Barton of New York and Mrs. Alba Hoffman of Troy. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Devello Haynes, Pastor of the Highland Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the family plot at New Paltz.
