She was the widow of John H. Adams Jr.
Mrs. Adams was born in Smithville, Dec. 27, 1913, the daughter of the late Peter and Alphonsine Periard Barton. She was a life resident of the area.
She was a retired employee of Industrial Uniform Service of Stillwater. Mrs. Adams was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation in Schuylerville.
Survivors are: six daughters, Mrs. Veronica Poirier and Mrs. Norma Harris of Naugatuck, Conn., Mrs. Agnes Pruitt of Charlestown Heights, S. C., Mrs. Ann Marie Mahan, Springville, Pa., Mrs. Charlotte Seney of Schuylerville, Mrs. Barbara Zeller of Quaker Springs; a son, John H. Adams III, of Schuylerville; four sisters, Mrs. Lorena Hall of Victory Mills, Mrs. Orea Stewart of Smithville, Mrs. Dola Hall of Schuylerville and Mrs. Shirley Airdo of Mechanicville; 29 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Visitation, Schuylerville. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Schuylerville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Flynn Bros. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Avenue, Schuylerville. The family has suggested that memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the General Schuyler Emergency Squad.
