Services for Albert Batten, 69, a retired DuPont employee were held yesterday from the Layton Funeral Home. Mr. Batten died Thursday after a long illness. His last residence was 30 Main Street in Pennsville. He was a member of the DuPont Vets Association and DuPont Quarter Century Club.
Born in Pennsville, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret Vanneman Batten. He is survived by his wife the former Pluma B. Penton of Salem and a brother Joseph of Pennsville.
