Mrs. Battistone was born April 16, 1904, in Paganica, Providence of Aquila, Italy. She had resided in the Canonsburg area for the past 15 years.
She was a member of St. Patrick's R. C. Church.
Surviving are her husband, Umberto, two daughters, Josephine, at home and Marie, wife of John Dupesko, Canonsburg; two sisters Angelina Ranalli and Antonia Battistone, both in Italy, and two grandchildren.
