Funeral services for Virginia Elizabeth Barry, 90, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Scott Funeral Home, Veterans Parkway, with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Thursday, June 9, 2011, with her son Dennis by her side.

She was born Nov. 6, 1920, in Georgetown.

She worked at Aetna Life Insurance Company as a secretary, did volunteer work for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, worked with Hospice, and others, and was a long-standing devoted member of Springdale United Methodist Church of Jeffersonville.

Survivors include her sons, Donald Howard Barry and Dennis Ray Barry and his wife Beth; sister, Evelyn Nelson and her husband Earl; sister-in-law, Sue Allen Baylor; and grandchildren, Morgan Abigail Barry and Nolan Ryan Barry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Verona Baylor; husband, Howard Mercer Barry; brother, Roger George Baylor; and sisters, Joan Howard and Dorothy Webber.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday.
