Son of Alexander and Katherine Bayne, died at the home of his brother, Howard Bayne on Aug 16, 1916 at 9:30 pm. He had been in poor health for the past 18 years but his death came very unexpectedly. He was a graduate of Valparaiso Univ, Indiana and was an employee of Carneige Steel Co. Funeral services were held in the Valley church; interment was made in Clinton Cemetery.
