Audra E. Adams, 89, formerly of New England, passed away September 8, 2005 at Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation of Beverly, Ohio.

She was born May 17, 1916 in New England, WV on the family farm, a daughter of the late Herbert W. and Brooksie Higginbotham Beadle. Audra and her late husband Eldon farmed and raised their children on the same farm where Audra had spent her entire life. She was a member of the New England Baptist Church.

Audra is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Hayes and her husband Paul of Wheeling, WV; eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Audra was preceded in death by her husband Eldon H. Adams four years ago; two sons, Eldon H. Adams, Jr., and William Beadle; one brother, one half brother and two sisters.

Services for Audra will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at the New England Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 till the time of service.
