She was born in Beacon on August 15, 1923, the daughter of William and Marie Grob Weyant.
On January 11, 1946 in St. Marys Church, Wappingers Falls, she married John J. Beahan, who died November 4, 1983.
Mrs. Beahan was employed at the former Poughkeepsie New Yorker in the classified department, and later as a dispatcher for the Police Department in Wappingers Falls, and in the billing department for the Town of Poughkeepsie Water department.
Ada was a graduate of Beacon High, class of '41, and Krissler Business Institute in 1943.
Surviving are her children, John J. Beahan and his wife Judy of Poughkeepsie, Kathleen and her husband James Turco of Chelsea, and Timothy Beahan and his wife Jaquina of Clintondale. Grandchildren, Lynn Angelo, John Beahan, Michele Osinski, James Turco, Brian and Melissa Knapp, 10 Great Grandchildren, a brother, Jerome Weyant, Sisters, Marie Hof, June Weyant, Lorraine Scofield, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a Brother, William Weyant.
Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church Clinton St., Wappingers Falls. Burial Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
