Nella Bear Alexander, 56, of Perrysville, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mrs. Alexander was born November 24, 1946 in Olive Hill, Kentucky. She was a member of Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church and was a homemaker who enjoyed painting, crafting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Alexander of Perrysville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Steve Bear and Bill & Muncie Bear, all of Mansfield; a sister, Rita Dean of Atlanta, Georgia; nephews, Billy Bear, Cole Bear, Scott Dean and Matthew Dean; nieces, Peggy Hall, Angela Foster and Lisa Lester and her husband, Benny; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood & Dorthy Dean Bear; and an infant sister, Hazel.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Brian Phillips and Rev. Earl Tackett. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund.
