AUSTIN BEBB
COLUMBUS JUNCTION —
Austin D. Bebb, 71, a resident of Brighton, died Monday at 12:15 p.m. at the Washington County Hospital.
He was born April 12, 1900, in Louisa County, rural Conesville, the son of Robert D. Bebb and Agnes McKee Bebb.
He married Gertrude Hill March 11, 1925, at Muscatine, and she died Aug. 18, 1963.
Mr. Bebb lived and farmed in Conesville until 1952 when he moved to Brighton. He was a retired farmer and livestock buyer. He belonged to the Odd Fellow Lodge.
Survivors include three brothers, Forest Bebb, Wapello, Randall Bebb, Cedar Falls, Aldon Bebb, Pittsburg, Kan., and one sister, Mrs. Eben (Marie) Williams, Conesville.
The funeral will be Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. R. W. Copeland, Washington, officiating. Burial will be in the Conesville cemetery.
