ABERDEEN – Emelene Bedford Adams, 84, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Duncanville, Texas. She was born Sept. 8, 1916, in Okolona to Thomas Nathan and Mary Bell Swann Bedford. She lived most of her life in Aberdeen before moving to Texas 17 months ago. She was a member of the Aberdeen Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Minister Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park in Verona.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary and Jon Crawford of Duncanville, Texas; a brother, Bill and Laurie Bedford of Olive Branch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Henry Adams, in 1981.
