Hardy County Death Records state only "Bedinger, female, white, three days old, died Aug. 29, 1927, buried in home graveyard Aug. 30, 1927, undertaker, Hugh L. McKeever." Since the only married Bedinger couple of child-bearing age at the time was Elbert T. Bedinger and his second wife, Ada (Garrett) Mathias Bedinger, one might speculate that the parents of this child were they. Her burial is perhaps indicated by one of the many field stones and funeral tins in the graveyard as she has no other monument.
