OBITUARY---Albert Beet

Brighton
Albert B. Beet Sr., 82, of 614 Flint Road, died Sunday, June 27, 1976, at the Whitmore Lake Convalescent Center, following an extended illness. He was born March 8, 1894 in St. Mary, England, a son of Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Beet.

He was married to Eva Mae Culver who preceded him in death Dec. 26, 1964.

Mr. Beet was a member of the Brighton Lions Club and a life member of Howell Lodge No. 38 F & A.M. He moved to the county in 1916 and spent some time in Chicago before his retirement. Before retiring he was with Carter Precision Methods Electronics.

Survivors include a son, Albert B. Beet Jr. of Schaumburg, Ill., one daughter, Helen Marie Mayrand of Miami, Fla., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, from the MacDonald Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis C. Sutton, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Graveside Masonic services will be conducted by Howell Lodge No 38 F & A M.

Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Lions Eye Bank.
