Also known as Katherine, Kate, or Katie. Daughter of Conrad Behrens (1832?-1910) & Rosina Spitzer (1848-96). Family moved to Niagara Falls or Buffalo when she was between 1 & 5 years old. Married Peter Laughlin (1864-c.1902) around 1894, and with him had 3 children: Helen Catherine, Edward P, & Charles C. After Peter died, she married Michael Laurence Abbott (1868-1922) around 1904/05 and had 3 more children: Maurice Michael, Catherine, and Rosina. Was widowed a second time in 1922. Lived almost her entire life in Niagara Falls.
