Douglas Andrew Behrman, 80 years old of Springfield, La., passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014, in Pass Christian, MS. He was a life long resident of Springfield, La. He was a avid hunter and fisherman. He was a great cook and loved LSU and New Orleans Saints football. He was also a veteran. He is survived by two daughters and one son, Marie "Toni" and Daryl Noble, Elizabeth "Beth" Doyle and Michael Mount and Jeffrey D. Behrman, eight grandchildren, James Noble Sr., Marcella Noble, Joshua Odom, Giselle Pelscia, Katheline Pelscia, Kevin Ladner, Harley Behrman and Ashley Behrman, 10 great-grandchildren and many of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by wife, Katheline Sibley Behrman, great-grandson, Zachary Ladonnis Noble, sister, Helen Ann Wall and his mother, Neil Behrman. Friends will be received Friday, January 31, 2014 from 10:00 am until Funeral Service begins at 11:30 am at First United Methodist Church of Hammond. Interment will follow in the Sibley Cemetery Satsuma, Louisiana at 2:00 pm. The family has requested please send potted plants so life can go on.
