Florence was mentioned in the society columns of Ouachita Parish newspapers. In the issue of the Ouachita Telegraph of May 9, 1886 (page 3) a description of her costume was given when she attended the Grand Ball of the Knights of Pythias with her wearing "black silk with white plumes."

MISS FLORENCE BEHRMAN.

The funeral of Miss Florence Behrman, 80, former well known Monroe resident, who died at Biloxi, Miss., Friday, was held at the Mulhearn Funeral home, Sunday at 10 a.m.

Rabbi F. K. Hirsch, of Temple B'Nai Israel, officiated and the interment was made in the Jewish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dr. Leon Titche, Walker Glenn, Sr., R. H. Oliver, Jr., Abe Arent, Clarence Oakley, Morris Haas, Jr., Cramer Haas and David Snyder.

Miss Behrman was a sister of the late Mrs. Sig Haas and was a native of San Antonio, Tex.

She leave two nephews, Morris W. Haas and D. Aubrey Haas, and a cousin, Mose Hoffman of Monroe.

MISS FLORENCE BEHRMAN.

The funeral of Miss Florence Behrman, 80, former well known Monroe resident, who died at Biloxi, Miss., Friday, was held at the Mulhearn Funeral home, Sunday at 10 a.m.
