Mrs. Helen Albro, 78, of Miami, Fla., died there Tuesday evening after a long and severe illness.
Mrs. Albro was born at Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 15, 1874, and moved to Indianapolis, Ind., at the age of 16 years. Her marriage to Frank Albro took place at Indianapolis and she moved to Galesburg in 1915. The family residence here for many years was at 348 N. Cedar St. Mr. Albro preceded her in death in 1927.
Surviving are five sons, Edward and Orville of Miami, Raymond of Galesburg, Ralph of Kewanee and Delbert of Forest Lawn, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 9 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening at the Foley Mortuary, where prayers will be recited at 8 p.m.

Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated today at 9 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church for Mrs. Helen Albro, 73, of Miami, Fla., a former resident of Galesburg, who died Tuesday. The Rev. M.J. Cronin, pastor of the church, celebrated the mass and responses were by the church choir.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers included five sons of Mrs. Albro. The sons are Edward and Orville, of Miami; Ralph of Kewanee, Raymond of Galesburg, and Delbert of Forest Lawn. The sixth pallbearer was C.W. Hogan of Galesburg, who formerly resided with the Albro family.
