Helen Edith Apedaile, 66, of Lodi, died Jan. 3 in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was born on June 29, 1934 in Idabel, Okla.
Mrs. Apedaile moved to California at the age of 14 with her family. They lived in Fresno and Rio Vista until 1963. She met and married Harry Apedaile in 1961.
She worked for Pacific Bell and also owned and operated her own business in Lodi called Kreative Kakes. She also worked in real estate and taxes.
She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, landscaping, playing practical jokes, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Apedaile of Lodi; three children; sisters, Kathleen Bullis, Lillian Wright, Virginia Gorrell, Wanda Chance, Dorothy Oldenburg, Carolyn Bullis and Kerma Owen; brother, Gene Bell; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
