Beulah Edyth Lillian Bell, 103 years 6 months, widow of F. Russell Bell of LaHave Islands, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 1993, at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg, where she had resided for the past two years, eight months.
Born in Lower LaHave, August 9, 1889, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Brown) Eisenhauer.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Stuart; sister, Eva; five brothers, Irvin, Ira, William, John, and James.
She is survived by her daughter, Mildred Wolfe of Broad Cove; her grandchildren, Yvonne (Wolfe) Conrad and husband Elliott; Brenda (Wolfe) Greek and husband Richard; Gary Wolfe and wife Barbara; seven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a number of nephews and nieces; and many dear friends.
The body rested at Sweeny's Funeral Home. Funeral service was held Friday, February 12, 1993, at 1:30 p.m from St. Matthew's United Church, Broad Cove, with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. Burial was in the family plot at Bell's Island.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Gary Wolfe and Richard Greek; great grandsons, Michael Greek and Kevin Wagner; great nephew, Loraine Reinhardt; and family friend, David Fielding.
